On Sunday May 30th around 11:00am a wreath was laid at the Monument of the Soldier and a new monument will be dedicated at the Town War Memorial. This new monument will fill the gap in the names that where not covered on the original monument that was installed many years ago for Funkstown residents that have served in the wars for the freedom of this country. Please show your support for these great men, some of which have paid the greatest price for our country on this day of remembrance. Check out the pictures in the photo tab.
