Thank you to all of the sponsors of 2023

Dear Friends,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help with the Funkstown Olde Tyme Christmas event. The temperature outside was around 45 degrees and with no wind it was cold but nice, it did not effect the steady stream of people that were bundled up and flowing through the social hall and all of the stores.  At best guess we had over 1000 people come through our doors. With Funkstown being the center of Christmas Spirit we had plenty of out of town guests from places like Gathersburg, Walkersville, Chambersburg, Waynesboro, West Virginia, Florida, and Arkansas.

We had every wagon ride full. Everyone got their fill of good food, drinks, and music as well as sharing the Christmas spirit with friends, family and town folk. . The Christmas in the park was a big draw this year with pony rides at the park. The added treat of hot chocolate, popcorn and hotdogs from the Scouts was just the special touch that Santa ordered.

Your donations were a very special part of what made the evening grand. Funkstown Olde Tyme Christmas also has a website that you can visit at www.funkstown.com. It has events, Town history, Business Locator map, and even the sponsors of this event. When you go there you will see more than just Olde Tyme Christmas,  you will see links to local business, organizations and a listing of upcoming events.

Again, let us thank you for your support in this adventure. This was truly best Christmas that Funkstown has ever seen. We hope you have a very prosperous new year and we hope to work with you on this next year, because without you, this would not have been a Very Special Funkstown Olde Tyme Christmas!

Yours in spirit,The Christmas committee
