The regular Mayor and Council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 8^th at 7:00 p.m. has been rescheduled to Monday, February 15^th at 7:00 p.m.  This meeting will be audio streamed to the Town’s Facebook page.  

The Mayor and Council meeting scheduled for Monday, January 11, 2021 has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

Saint Paul’s church will be offering an In-Person Worship on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) at 3PM and 7PM, which will include Christmas Carols and Holy Communion.  The 7PM service will be on Facebook Live. There is no charge but you must call the church to reserve a seat at 301-791-1738. You may also check the website if you have questions http://www.stpaulsfunkstownmd.org/.

The National Weather Service has forecasted that Washington County can expect inclement weather on Monday and Wednesday this week.

As a result, the Mayor and Council meeting scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled to Monday, December 21^st at 7:00 p.m.

The Appeals Hearing scheduled for Wednesday, December 16^th has also been postponed.  Once a date has been set, an email will be sent to advise everyone.

The impending weather will be closely monitored and if changes need to be made, a post will be sent out.

Funkstown not participating with an advertised Trick or Treat this year.  If the residents in the Town would like to have Treat or Trick, you can tell your neighbors they are welcome to have it, but the Town is not encouraging it. There will also be no parade. The City of Hagerstown is having Trick or Treat at the Fairgrounds on Thursday, October 29^th.

Vehicle needs a complete Transmission Rebuild.

Said vehicle is parked to the rear of Town Hall in the parking lot, 30 East Baltimore Street, Funkstown MD 21734.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 12:00 p.m., Monday September 14, 2020 in the office of the town manager, Town Hall, 30 East Baltimore Street, Funkstown, MD 21734.  No bids will be accepted after the time specified.

Bids will NOT be opened at that time.

Bids will be considered, accepted, or rejected by the Mayor and Council at a meeting to be held on Monday,      September 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

A 2020 Census Recruiting Assistant will have a MQA (Mobile Questionnaire Assistance) site located in front of the Funkstown Post Office on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. to assist any Funkstown Resident that has not yet completed the 2020 Census.
