INVITATION TO BID
Project: SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM REHABILITATION: The project generally consists of cleaning, televising, and lining of approximately 2,500 L.F. of existing 8” sewer main, reinstatement of 24 laterals, rehabilitation of 12 manholes, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction.
The Work will be performed under one Contract as follows:

Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Owner until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on April 18, 2024.
Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online at the Town of Funkstown website: www.funkstown.com.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on March 27, 2024, at the office of the Owner. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
Questions will be accepted until 4:00 P.M., prevailing time, on April 10, 2024; All questions must be submitted by email to nate.merkel@arroconsulting.com and bethany.stoll@arroconsulting.com.
The Contract will be subject to the Wage Determination, Standards, and Regulations established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. Qualified Minority and Women Businesses Enterprise (MBE/WBE) are strongly encouraged to respond to this Invitation to Bid.
Notice is given to bidders that the construction of this project is being funded, in part, by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). Successful Bidder and its subcontractor(s) shall comply with conditions and regulations set forth in the Grant Agreements.
Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for (5) percent of the Bid total.
The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
