The town is looking for residence that would like to help on the local boards. We are currently looking for one member for the board of zoning appeal. We are also looking for three members on the planning and zoning commission. No formal training is required prior to the appointment to the board. All residence over the age of 21 may apply for appointment. Please contact Brenda at the town hall if you are interested.

We just want to take a moment to thank Boy, troop, 23 and girl troop 123 from Funkstown for helping out with repairs in the park. The girls painted the wagon red on the playground and painted all the windows that were replaced in the barn that were broken out by vandals. The boys worked on replacing the broken pains of glass in the barn and replacing some of them with plywood covering. It was a long day work. Special thanks go out to town councilman Terry Feiser and his brother Evan for making some structural repairs to the barn due to rot.

Project: SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM REHABILITATION: The
project generally consists of cleaning, televising, and lining of approximately 2,900 L.F. of existing 8” sewer main, reinstatement of 24 laterals, rehabilitation of 13 manholes, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction.
