We are also looking for three members on the planning and zoning commission. No formal training is required prior to the appointment to the board. On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Funkstown Water Customers may see a reduction in water pressure. The City of Hagerstown will be conducting repairs on the main meter on Edgewood Drive between 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Project: SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM REHABILITATION: The
project generally consists of cleaning, televising, and lining of approximately 2,900 L.F. of existing 8” sewer main, reinstatement of 24 laterals, rehabilitation of 13 manholes, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction.
The Work will be performed under one Contract as follows:

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on May 8, 2024, at the office of the Owner. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

The Contract will be subject to the Wage Determination, Standards, and Regulations established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act.

Notice is given to bidders that the construction of this project is being funded, in part, by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). Successful Bidder and its subcontractor(s) shall comply with conditions and regulations set forth in the Grant Agreements.
Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for
(5) percent of the Bid total.
The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
